By downloading, installing, or using the Sniffles & Snacks mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sniffles & Snacks ("we," "our," or "us").
Sniffles & Snacks is an AI-powered pet care companion designed to help pet owners. The service includes:
The App uses Google's Gemini AI to analyze ingredients, provide health assessments, detect pet emotions, and power the Dr. Sniffles AI assistant. While we strive for accuracy, AI analysis may contain errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of any result provided by the App.
To provide AI-powered features, the App shares specific data (including ingredient lists, pet profiles, and media) with Google Gemini AI (Google LLC). By using these features, you consent to this data sharing. You will be asked for explicit consent within the App before any data is sent to the AI service for the first time. You may decline consent, but this will disable AI-powered features.
All AI-generated content, including Dr. Sniffles conversations, pet emotion analysis, health scores, and food safety ratings, is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute professional veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.
Product information is sourced from Open Food Facts and other databases. We are not responsible for errors in third-party data.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for verifying the safety of any food product before feeding it to your pet. You should always read the physical product label and consult your veterinarian.

Some subscription products may include an introductory free trial or promotional offer when shown in the App Store, Google Play, or in-app purchase flow. If an offer is available, the purchase screen will show its duration, price, renewal terms, and cancellation requirements before you subscribe.
We offer the following auto-renewable subscription plans:
Payments are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation will prevent future charges but you will retain premium access until the end of the current paid period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
You can restore previously purchased subscriptions through the App's Settings screen. This is useful when reinstalling the App or switching devices.
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Price changes will not affect existing subscribers until their next renewal period. We will provide notice of price changes at least 30 days in advance.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the property of Sniffles & Snacks and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. "Sniffles & Snacks" and our logo are trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNIFFLES & SNACKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sniffles & Snacks, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google LLC), Google Gemini AI, RevenueCat (subscription management), Open Food Facts, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at vatsalp732@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.
